Odette's Story

Odette's Story (by Eve March)

In another realm only a little over 24 human years ago the goddess children were playing.

There was enough laughter to make clouds stop and pause. Among them was a golden little goddess who led the raucous children in a dance. She jumped higher and danced wilder than any of them. When she sang the sun glowed stronger and the stars would burst into showers of shooting stars. She was deemed the happy goddess and was revered by all who lived there.

One day the happy child rested, just briefly, on the edge of a cloud and looked down.

She saw way down a man and woman playing with their little son. She noticed their world around them and knew from that moment that she wanted and needed to spend time with them. So off she went to her spirit guide and danced up and down excitedly wanting to be let go to earth at once. The spirit guide calmed her took her by the hand and led her to the table of spirits. Again the little goddess bounced and pleaded.

Now the spirits all loved her, especially her singing. She made all the goddesses and gods so happy. They all had always known that she was a special one with a great path ahead of her. Many worlds were waiting for her kind of happiness to be spread. So they had to grant her, her wish.

The spirit guide took her to the edge of their world handed her a small bag of seeds and told her seriously: 'You only have a short time down there to sow the seeds of your essence, do it wisely, abundantly and honestly. Do you understand and do you still want to go knowing that we will call you back?' For once she was solemn and promised.

The little goddess squealed with delight as she slid down. On the way she saw some of her friends playing on nearby clouds "Follow me' she called out' follow me. I need some friends down there!'

There was great joy in the house of her chosen earth parents and brother when she arrived and she took to human life with ease and started right away to spread happiness among everyone who met her.

As she grew up she met again the spirit children she had called on her way down and just as she had known, they became her very close friends. She delighted them with her music and singing and taught them the art of real laughter. Her wisdom helped shape these young people into inspiring young adults.

In this world there also was injustice to which our goddess was not blind and she vowed from deep in her heart she would make a difference and sought scholars and studies to help make it a better place for everyone.

Her studies brought her to many places. Again she touched and inspired many.

Her voice also grew and grew and her song carried all the way back to her old realm.

The spirits sat at the table and looked on then nodded to each other.

She was far away from home and friends when she had a dream. A spirit dancer from the dream time left her a message. She was to plant her last seeds of wisdom and love.

She did and she wrote many, many messages to all her loved ones.

Then she was led into an empty space and waited.

Her Spirit guide held out her hand and simply said: 'It is time, you have done well and now you are needed elsewhere"

And as she travelled up she looked back and called out to the bird of laughter

'Please remind them to live and laugh with abandon!'
